Offering a small about of this food each night will supplement hedgehogs’ diets without disrupting their natural foraging behaviours.
“Vale’s Hedgehog Food” is the food used daily at Vale Wildlife Hospital, one of the UK’s largest rescues. It has been specially developed to be a suitable match to a hedgehog’s natural diet.
In the wild, hedgehogs travel a mile or more nightly to find beetles, caterpillars, earthworms and other prey. You can support local hedgehogs by leaving out a small handful (about 60g) of these nutritious biscuits in a shallow dish, along with a bowl of fresh water.
